Outre l’avantage de ne plus souiller les murs et le plafond, ces filtres assurent la protection des groupes moto- ventilateurs* de pulsion d’air ;

ce qui permet d’éviter un manque de refroidissement du générateur proprement dit.

De plus, ces poussières sont particulièrement salissantes car au contact des parois brûlantes du foyer, il se produit un effet de carbonisation.

* Des ventilateurs propres sont également le garant d’un débit d’air correct et du maintien d’un bon brassage de l’air
en circulation, ce qui évite une accumulation d’air chaud au niveau le plus haut (ceci est très important pour conserver un rendement optimal).

Les filtres sont montés sur un cadre métallique et installés au niveau de la reprise d’air (dans le caniveau sous la grille de sol ou dans le plénum avec trapillon d’accès et 4 fermetures « rapides »).

Ils sont du type « jetables » et donc sans difficulté d’entretien (comme un sac en papier d’aspirateur).

Les filtres à air doivent être tenus propres toute l’année, même en dehors des visites du technicien (garantie et rendement).
